Sridhar is the Tamil dubbed version of Tollywood film Oh My Friend featuring Siddharth, Hansika and Shruthi Hassan in the leads. Siddharth starrer was released last Friday in Kollywood with small changes in its original version and has been declared a hit, while Oh My Friend did not go well with the box-office.

STR has crooned a song for Siddharth in Shridhar that goes with the lyrics ‘Natpukkillai Ellai’. Upcoming actor Siva Karthikeyan has given the voice over to Siddharth, while Hansika’s dialogues were dubbed in the voice of Savitha. “I’ve re-shoot certain portions for Tamil audiences, so that it touches their nativity with no feeling of watching a dubbed movie. Natpukkillai Ellai track sung by Simbu is already a chartbuster,” says Satish.

Venu Sriram has written and directed this musical entertainer that includes compositions of Rahul raj, cinematography by Vijay C. Chakravarthy and editing was handled by kashyab. Geetha Arts has released the Telugu version on 11-11-11, a few months ago and now on May 18th makers have released the dubbed version and recorded a hit in the box-office.

Parvathy Omanakuttan (born July 13, 1987) is an Indian model and actress who was crowned Miss India World in 2008 and later became first runner-up as Miss World Asia & Oceania at the Miss World 2008 competition.
Omanakuttan was born on dec 20, 1987 in Kottayam, Kerala, as the first child of Omanakkuttan Nair.

She is originally from Changanacherry and now lives in Mumbai.
She was seven months old when she came to Mumbai with her parents, because her father had to join Taj Hotel. She attended SCDB High School and later studied English literature at Mumbai's Mithibai College.



Miss World 2008

Omanakuttan represented India in the 58th Miss World Final. She won second place for the Miss World Top Model contest on December 3, 2008. She was one among the top five finalists of Miss World 2008 Beach Beauty contest, where she was placed the first-runner up when Miss Russia Ksenia Sukhinova became the eventual winner.

Miss India 2008

She participated in Femina Miss India 2008 and won the Miss India World crown. Omanakuttan also won the sub-titles of Miss Photogenic, Miss Personality, and Miss Beautiful Hair in the Femina Miss India 2008 pageant.

Miss India South 2008

In a ceremony at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre held in December 2007, Omanakuttan was crowned the first ever Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2008. Winning the PFMIS 2008 contest got her direct entry in the top ten finalists of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2008. She also won a few more sub-titles in PFMIS 2008. She was crowned as PFMIS 2008 by Ramya Krishnan, a South Indian actress.

Before winning the PFMI 2008 and PFMIS 2008 pageants, Omanakuttan also won several other contests. They are "Miss Malayali 2005", "Malayali Manka 2005", "Navy Queen (Southern Naval Command, Cochin) 2006", "Miss SVKM (Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal, Mumbai) 2006", "Lions Club Dreamgirl 2007" and "Navy Queen (Vizag) 2007".





She made her cinematic debut through the Bollywood flick United Six directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. She later signed a Malayalam film titled Madan Kolli by Major Ravi, in which she had to play dual roles; one that of a police officer and the other that of a vampire. In 2010 she appeared in Uma Maheshwaram. But her third film is a biggie as she has a coveted part, Ajith Kumar and its Billa 2.

Chiyaan Vikram's 'Thaandavam' is taking shape in fast pace in foreign locales. A song featuring Vikram and Amy Jackson was canned in the scenic Thames river recently. It's a romantic number between the duo composed by GV Prakash.

Prior to the shoot Amy wrote on her microblogging page, "Vikram & I are shooting the song sequences today. GV Prakash has done a super duper job once again! Takes after his uncle".

'Thaandavam' is being shot in the UK from more than a month and still has a few schedules to be wrapped in there. It is said that some high voltage action scenes, song sequences and dialogue portions are being shot there featuring the lead actors.

Breaking the 'single' trend in the Tamil film industry, team 'Saguni' will unveil two audio songs on their lead, Karthi's birthday, May 25. The videos of the song will also be released on the same day.

It was earlier reported that the film will seen a single launch on May 25 which will be followed by the audio launch on May 31 but the makers have decided to present a dual treat to Karthi's fans on his birthday. Music is by GV Prakash and the album has five songs.

The film is slated for a release on June third week, but an official announcement on this front will be made only once the movie censored.

'Saguni', a commercial political drama, is helmed by newbie Shankar Dayal. The movie stars Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles. 'Saguni' brings back the hit combo of Karthi and Santhanam on screen and has several celebrities in special appearances.
